Hello,
The Player object in Windows 11 (and probably maybe older versions) reports wrong timescale of a loaded audio file (have tested wav and mp3). Loading an audio file with sample rate 44,1 kHz into a Player object on Windows and query the timescale of the Player always reports 10000000.
The reported duration of the loaded file is syncronized to the timescale, thus the duration/timescale results in the right audio length in seconds.
On macOS the timescale reports correctly 44100 and a duration that match.
Have tested this on Livecode Create 1.0 (DP10) Classic Mode both in IDE and Standalone (macOS and Windows).
BUT this problem is VERY old, see https://forums.livecode.com/viewtopic.php?t=31862.
Am I doing something wrong??!?!?
Regards,
Peter
