Hi all
just wanted to check if this is normal or if things aren’t working on my end.
is the web version of LCC meant to sync with the desktop/native version? ie are the projects in one meant to show in the interface of the other?
I ask because the web version for me just shows “Stam’s free workspace” that just allows to have one project and (obviously form the title!) does not sync with the desktop version, which allows me to have any number of projects.
Is this expected behaviour or is something funky on my end?
As things currently stand the projects you build between the desktop and the web version are not in sync. So what you are seeing is correct. We are working towards them being in sync so that you can see the same projects between desktop and web, that is coming.
It sounds great. So, “in sync” means that both the desktop version (Native) and the web version (Cloud) would eventually store and use the same data in the cloud? If so, will there be a size limit to affect performance? Some of my stacks are very big, one is about 800 MB. I have fibre connection at 500 Mb/s.
At the moment, I am still using the Classic mode of LiveCode Create, storing the big stack in local HD only, no problem.
