Incompatibility when moving to dp10

One of my projects - the one I’ve been using to play with and report bugs - hits a major problem with dp10.

I can select / load the project OK, but when I (immediately) switch to “Run” mode, LCCreate freezes with the spinning circle icon, and needs to be "Force Quit"ted.

It’s project “Addresses”, which you (LCLtd) are welcome to look at (if you can). If not - how do I provide it to you if you want to check?

Hi @alex sorry to hear you’ve run into an issue and for the delay in my response.

If you still have the project it would be great to take a look at it but I understand you may have deleted it by now. If in future you’d like to ever export a project you can do so from the project selector menu for the project or by using the “Export Project Layouts” option from the Logo menu within the IDE.

I don’t think it’s possible to upload your project here but you if you compress and email it to support@livecode.com someone from the team can look into it.

Thanks Adam.
Unfortunately, I can’t make this problem happen again.

I think that when I started up LCC, and entered this as the first project I looked at, everything cam good again. I think the problem happened when I had been in :CC for a while looking at a variety of projects.

I’m seeing this same issue periodically. I get around it: open LC and make a new untitled stack. Then open the existing project. You can close the untitled stack immediately after its creation, or leave it open until later. A new stack never has the problem of the spinning pizza. I suspect that it may have to do with opening different versions of LC and there maybe being a preference issue that causes the hang. This happens LC 9 through 11.
