Hello
I have two LiveCode versions installed on my PC. One is the Classic version 9.6.5, which works perfectly, and the Create version 10 where I clicked on “Switch to Classic”. In the menu items “Edit - Preferences - Mobile Support” I have the same information as in the Classic version 9.6.5.
When I click on “Save as Standalone Application” in the Create (with Switch to Clasic) Version, I get the attached error message.
Best Regards
Gragge
If the Error picture will not be shown, here is the text:
»There was an error while saving the standalone application
Could not link resources - error:

As far as I understand, the LC Create version is not complete yet, there is a major update due very soon, but I’m not 100% sure it will address your immediate problem.
LC Classic is more reliable for standalone creation right now, hopefully this will change very soon.
While saving as a standalone application isn’t available in Create yet it should work as usual in Classic mode. This error suggests an issue with the Android SDK build tools version installed. I’d recommend double checking that you have the correct version installed and ensure the path is set in
LiveCode Create > Settings > Mobile Support
Let me know if this doesn’t resolve the issue and I will look into it further. Thank you for getting in touch!
